Cartes Marines A L’Usage des Armées du Roy de la Grande Bretagne..”, published by Pieter Mortier, Amsterdam “1693”. (PM) 59,7 x 47,7 cm.

The charts of the Atlas Maritime were engraved by Romeyn de Hooghe after manuscripts in the possession of the British Admiralty. - Full impression of the plate on strong Dutch laid paper with original white margins at all sides. The map, the views and the dedication to Willem Fabritius of Haarlem in full shining original colour. Few creases smoothened. Unobtrusive imperfections in margins mended. – A splendid and very well preserved copy. Examples of this scarce map in full original colour are rare!
