Koeman, M. Mor 5, map 4. First state (of 3), with the printed date 1693. The charts of the Atlas Maritime were engraved after manuscripts in the possession of the British Admiralty. In the upper left corner of the chart views of Granville and Mont St. Michel are shown, the upper right corner is adorned with a view of the Baie de Saint-Vaast la Hougue and the lower right corner is embellished with plans of Honfleur, Cherbourg and Havre de Grace. - Full impres­sion of the plate on strong Dutch laid paper with original white margins at all sides. The map, the views and the dedication to Steven van der Does of Noordwijk in full shining original colour. Some slight unobtrusive folds and marginal imperfections. - A splendid and very well preserved copy. Examples of this scarce map in full original colour are rare!
