1st state with the etched sign. “26” at top right. From the fifth part of the second book of Daniel Meisner’s “Thesaurus Philo-Politicus”, published by Eberhard Kieser, Frankfurt/M. 1630. The emblematical depiction shows a swimmer and refers to the advantage of being able to know one's trade in difficult situations. - Sharp even impression. Wide original margins. Slight unobtrusive staining in parts of outer margin. All in all in excellent condition.
